If we had the same number of Christian workers in Canada and the US as are in North America there would be like seven churches (TOTAL) in both countries combined! That really puts in clear view how sadly lacking we are in missions support and how lazy and complacent we have become about a world that is dying. I also read that there are over 6,000 languages, and that roughly 3,000 of them do not have a translated Bible! According to one website, that works out to around 250 million people! What is gonna have to happen to wake America up and help them see how rich and lazy we have become?

Nice to find your blog. This is really eye-opening. Well I guess we're one of those 577 in Europe!

Yes, there are many dark places in the world. I heard a great sermon on this topic by a pastor in Arizona: www.faithfulwordbaptist.com The sermon title was "Preaching the Gospel to Every Nation". Let me know what you think of the sermon.
